The World Sokarate Federation (WSF) founded by Hanshi Andrew Rekunoff is a global organization created to unite martial artists and schools who follow the true path of Budo and the spirit of real Full Contact Karate.
Under the leadership of Hanshi Andrew Rekunoff, 8th Dan (USA), the World SoKarate Federation preserves the traditions of classical Budo while developing modern approaches to training and competition.
The Honbu Dojo — Headquarters of the World SoKarate Federation — is based in Los Angeles, California, USA.
SOKARATE represents unity across all karate schools and styles.
It is a system that combines tradition, realism, and effectiveness.
Our training system is built for all ages and levels — from beginners to elite fighters — with a strong focus on both physical and mental development.

We welcome martial artists of all styles and backgrounds. Your experience and rank will be reviewed and respected.
Application Process:
All applications must be approved by WSF Headquarters.
After approval, you will receive:
• Internationally recognized rank and certification
• Official WSF Branch Certificate
• Access to international training camps and seminars
• Instructor development programs
• Listing on the official website
The World SoKarate Federation (WSF) is a special centre of knowledge where third persons and organisations may purchase knowledge and WSF is also willing to pay for knowledge deemed worthy of and beneficial to the organisation.
Therefore member clubs make their own decisions regarding the financial implications of learning at their Dojo’s, seminars and training camps. They can apply for grants and financial support from state, local authorities or sponsors to work more efficiently. They also support the development of their disciples by arranging competitions and exam preparations.
- Dojo’s may utilize they own budget, namely the membership fees paid by their members, in any manner they see fit.
- WSF instructor is exempt from the annual membership fee.
- Each WSF Member-Student, pays an annual Fee of $10 by 31st December. Instructor can charge more than $10 for Dojo support.
- Only Members that are paid for annual Membership are eligible for grading and attendance of WSF events.
- All registered Members will be added with a personal WSF Membership number.
